Andrew Gretes is the author of How to Dispose of Dead Elephants (Sandstone Press, 2014), a novel which explores epilepsy through fables. His fiction has been anthologized in Best Small Fictions 2019 and has appeared in New England Review, Willow Springs, Witness, Booth, and other journals. He earned his PhD in English and Creative Writing at the University of Southern Mississippi. In a desperate attempt to increase productivity, Andrew has resorted to naming his writing instruments after mighty swords of antiquity.
